What this policy covers
This policy covers synced.design — our public marketing site. It does not cover third-party sites we link to (such as our scheduling or payment providers), which run under their own privacy policies.
The data we collect, and why
When you contact us
If you send an inquiry through our contact form, we process the details you give us: your name, email, company or project, your message, and any optional details you add (a link, timeline, budget range, or preferred next step). We use these only to read and reply to your inquiry and to decide whether we're a fit for your project.
- Legal basis: taking steps at your request before any contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- How it reaches us: the form is delivered as an email by our email provider, Resend, and lands in our normal inbox. We don't store inquiries in a separate database or CRM.
- Retention: we keep inquiry emails for up to 24 months so we can follow up and keep reasonable records, then delete them — unless they become part of an ongoing engagement.
No newsletters, no marketing lists — we don't add you to anything.
When you visit the site
Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure and reliable. This is based on our legitimate interest in a safe, working website (Art. 6(1)(f)), and these logs are short-lived.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how the site performs. It is cookieless and anonymized: it sets no cookies, builds no profile of you, and doesn't track you across other sites. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, no consent banner is required. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
When you book a call
If you choose to book a discovery call, you're taken to our scheduling provider, Cal.com, and the details you enter there are handled under Cal.com's privacy policy.
When you buy a package
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout pages — we never see or store your card details. Stripe processes that data under Stripe's privacy policy.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't build behavioural profiles. Any storage strictly necessary to make the site work is just that — strictly necessary. That's why there's no cookie banner.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. We only use a small set of service providers who process data on our behalf to run the site:
- Vercel — hosting and cookieless analytics.
- Resend — delivering contact-form inquiries to our inbox.
- Cal.com — scheduling, if you book a call.
- Stripe — payments, if you buy a package.
We may also disclose data where we're legally required to. Otherwise, your inquiry stays between you and us.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards — such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected — inquiry emails for up to 24 months as described above, server logs only briefly — and then delete it, unless a longer period is required by law or by an ongoing engagement.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it if it's wrong, or complete it if it's incomplete;
- delete it, or restrict how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format, or have it transferred;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these, just email hello@synced.design— there 's no special process. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority if you believe we've handled your data improperly.
How we protect your data
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe and work with reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but we keep what we collect minimal on purpose, which is the best protection of all.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
As the site evolves, we may update this policy. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top. The current version always lives at this page.
